Hassan Sahili is a cultural writer and photographer who documents the urban. He uses his phone to capture raw and brutal images of the details of urban spaces around him. 

His book, Back to the Fold, was published in 2020 in collaboration with Umam Foundation, and is an intimate biography and testimony of a former prisoner. 

He has featured his works in the group exhibition Yalla Bala Manyake Third Edition, Beirut, Lebanon (2021).
